[About Me]

Aya is a systems-driven product designer and strategist.

Raised between Moscow and Miami, she developed an early sensitivity to contrast- structure and fluidity, logic and instinct. This duality informs how she approaches design: with rigor, empathy, and a deep attention to how people think, move, and decide.

Her practice lives between product strategy, interaction design, and computational exploration- often blurring lines between enterprise tooling and cultural systems.

When she's not designing, she practices yoga and meditation as a way to study consciousness without code.

[things i believe]

invisible design (shipped fast)

  • Good design shouldn't call attention to itself

  • Listen, build, ship, then learn from users

  • Complexity should feel effortless

Communication is design

  • Clear thinking = clear design

  • Anticipate objections before you ship. Address them in the design

  • Mismatched expectations lead to failed products

Craft>ego

  • Remove yourself; let the work speak

  • Follow your curiosity to your best work

  • Only ship things you're genuinely excited about

Great work happens in conversation. If you’re building, questioning, or simply curious- I’d love to hear from you.
